Early on, photography for me was simply an interest. A hobby. It was something that I could do with my father (a life-long amateur photographer)... a class that I could take in high school. But somewhere along the way, what began as merely a diversion grew into the kind of passion that can drive your
entire life — the kind of passion that makes you excited about getting up in the morning.
The fact that you can go to college to study something in which you actually want to invest your life is unbelievable. Texas A&M–Commerce allowed me to hone my technical skills without smothering the passion that fuels each of my shots.
So, I suppose that photography for me is still an interest. Still a learning experience. And still a passion.
